January
  • No heartbeat at 9.5 weeks. MMC diagnosed.

  • Diagnoses: Asherman's syndrome (scar tissue, lining = 4 mm at ovulation), diminished ovarian reserve (AMH =.4), luteal phase disorder, pericentric inversion of chromosome 9
  • Operative hysteroscopy #1 to remove scar tissue
June
  • Meet with RE, lining still thin, agree on treatment protocol for lining
  • HSG shows 1 tube blocked, uterus almost fully blocked due to severe contrast allergy. No more HSGs.
July
  • Ovulation induction/timed intercourse cycle. Gonal-F at 150 iu/day, estrace 2mg 2x/day, pregnyl trigger, prometrium. ~3 Mature follicles, lining 7.3 and cystic. 
  • BFP!!
September
  • CVS shows healthy twin girls!! 
October
  • pPROM baby B
November
  • Alexis and Zoe stillborn at 18.1
2017

January
  • Operative hysteroscopy #2 to remove scar tissue. Balloon stent placed for 1 week.
February
  • Ovulation induction/timed intercourse cycle. Follistim at 150 iu/day, estrace 2mg 2x/day for 4 days. No response at first. Follistim increased progressively to 300. 1 mature follicle. Lining 7.9 and triple stripe. Pregnyl trigger, prometrium.
  • BFP!!
May
  • NIPT shows healthy baby girl!
July
  • Bleeding. Ultrasound shows 3 cm dilated, bulging membranes
  • Rescue cerclage placed. pPROM 48 hours later.
  • Cerclage removed.
  • Quinn born and passed at 21w 3d
  • Cervical insufficiency diagnosed
September
  • Operative hysteroscopy #3 to remove scar tissue. Balloon stent placed for 1 week.
  • Biopsy shows histological signs of infection. Antibiotics.
October
  • Operative hysteroscopy #4 to remove scar tissue. No stent needed, but 1 week of estrogen. 
November
  • Transabdominal cerlcage placed by Dr. Arthur Haney at the University of Chicago Medical Center. 
December
  • Ovulation induction/timed intercourse cycle. Follistim at 225 iu/day, Menopur 1 vial/day, estrace 2mg 2x/day, doxycycline 2x/day. 2 follicles (one potentially overmatured). Lining 5 and mixed pattern. Pregnyl trigger, endometrin.
  • Apparent BFN
2018

January
  • CD2 bloodwork reveals hcg >0, <5. Determination: December cycle was a chemical pregnancy. Wait for next cycle to try again.
February
  • Ovulation induction/timed intercourse cycle. Follistim at 225 iu/day, Menopur 1 vial/day, estrace 2mg 2x/day, doxycycline 2x/day.  1- 2 follicles. Lining 5.5 and triple. Pregnyl trigger, endometrin.
  • BFP!!
  • Betas stopped climbing by 16 dpo. Chemical #4.
May
  • Ovulation induction/timed intercourse cycle. Follistim at 225 iu/day, Menopur 1 vial/day, estrace 2mg 2x/day, doxycycline 2x/day, dexamethasone 1x/day, vaginal sildenafil 1x/day. No follicle growth after 4 days. Follistim progressively increased to 300 iu/day. 16 days of stims. 2 follicles. Lining 6.7 and mixed. Pregnyl trigger, endometrin.
  • BFP!
  • Betas stopped climbing by 16 dpo. Chemical #5.
July
  • Ovulation induction/timed intercourse cycle. Follistim at 225 iu/day, Menopur 1 vial/day, Omnitrope 1.88 units/day, estrace 2mg 2x/day, doxycycline 2x/day, prednisone 1x/day, vaginal sildenafil 1x/day. 3 mature follicles after 10 days of stims. Lining either 5.8 or 6.5 and triple. Pregnyl trigger, endometrin.
  • BFP! Betas of 119 at 11 dpo and 845 at 15 dpo.
August
  • First u/s shows two heartbeats at 6w1d, one at 86 bpm, one normal. 
October
  • Both babies still on track! NIPT testing shows both are euploid, 1 girl, 1 boy! 
2019

January
  • Pre-term labor hospitalization at 27 weeks. Contractions stopped.
February
  • Pre-term labor hospitalization at 29 weeks. Contractions stopped.
  • Pre-term labor at 31.5 weeks. Decision made to do an immediate c-section with no attempt to stop labor. T and A are born just before midnight, exactly two months before their due date.
